| Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- Greeting the Day of the Sun (April 15), the birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung, the Korean people are recollecting the life of the President, who devoted his all to the people with the "believing in the people as in Heaven" as his lifelong motto. He, with ardent love for the people, successfully guided the 20-year-long anti-Japanese struggle and the Fatherland Liberation War (June 25, 1950-July 27, 1953). The total distance of the field guidance tour he made in his lifetime extends to 578,000 km, or fourteen and half rounds of the globe. Many people, including servicemen and children, are visiting the statue of President Kim Il Sung on Mansu Hill to pay tribute to him. |
