Present there on invitation were Vishwanath, director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and secretary general of the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council, the delegations and delegates of organizations for the study of the Juche idea from different countries and regions on visits to the DPRK.

Present there were Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea who is chairman of the Social Scientists Society of Korea, and officials concerned.

Kim Ki Nam, addressing the reception, said that the history of Kim Il Sung in which he performed distinguished exploits in the human history through his outstanding ideological and theoretical activities and revolutionary practice would shine forever.

Thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il the Juche idea, the Songun idea founded by the President are shedding their rays, he stressed.

Vishwanath said in his speech that the President devoted his whole life to the cause for the prosperity and well-being of the Korean people and progressive people and provided mankind with the great Juche idea.

Kim Il Sung was a great thinker and theoretician and outstanding statesman who turned the DPRK into a power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in defence, he stressed.
