Among the audience were senior party and army officials Kim Jong Un, Ri Yong Ho, Kim Yong Chun, Choe Thae Bok, Hong Sok Hyong, Kim Kyong Hui, Jang Song Thaek, Kim Jong Gak, Kim Yang Gon, Pak To Chun, Thae Jong Su, Kim Phyong Hae, Mun Kyong Dok, Ju Kyu Chang, U Tong Chuk and Kim Chang Sop, servicepersons of the KPA and officials in the fields of literature, arts and media.

Members of the art squad staged colorful numbers of various genres. They included mixed quartet and chorus "Song of Happiness", poem recital "Leader and April 15", female solo "Our Unforgettable Leader", flute and female chorus "The Party Is Care of General", guitar ensemble and female solo "For My Only Motherland", sketch "Issue of Impression", bass guitar solo "Reunification Train Runs", poem and story-telling "Our Lifeline" and chorus "Green Pine Standing on Nam Hill".

The performers enthusiastically sang of the great national pride and self-confidence of the Korean people being blessed with the illustrious leaders generation after generation and the invincible might of the heroic KPA which has grown to be a first line-death-defying corps defending the leader and a matchless army under the care of the brilliant commander of Mt. Paektu. They, at the same time, successfully represented the firm faith and will of the KPA to devotedly defend the gains of the revolution won by President Kim Il Sung, true to the experienced and seasoned leadership of the WPK.

Through the performance replete with revolutionary enthusiasm and militant spirit they powerfully demonstrated the might of the army artistes creditably performing their sacred mission as buglers in the Songun era by instilling the ardent love for the Party and the leader and the country and its people into the servicepersons.

Kim Jong Il expressed great satisfaction over the unique and militant performance truthfully representing the servicepersons' inexhaustible mental power they staged with works of great cognitive and educational values. He highly appreciated their success in the presentation and extended thanks to them.

Performing activities are of weighty significance in the ideological education of the soldiers, he said, advancing important tasks to serve as guidelines for intensifying the revolutionary and militant performing activities.

Noting that exceptionally high is the enthusiasm of the army and people of the DPRK dashing ahead like the wind toward an invincible power with a grand ambition, he expressed expectation and belief that the whole party and army and all the people would bring about great innovations and leap forward on all fronts by dynamically waging an all-out offensive and an all-out campaign for a breakthrough to realize the President's desire to build a thriving nation and thus commemorate the centenary of birth of the President as the greatest holiday of Kim Il Sung's nation and as a great auspicious event in the human history.
