The Russian newspaper Nakhodkinski Rabochi in an article titled "Kim Il Sung, Eternal President" on April 5 stressed that he is the founder of socialist Korea.

His idea and cause have been steadily carried forward, the paper said, adding that General Secretary Kim Jong Il has developed in depth the Juche idea, the Songun idea founded by the President as required by the new era and embodied it in all-round way.

The Mexican newspaper Unidad Nacional on March 31 elaborated on the exploits performed by Kim Il Sung in the cause of building the party and the state, saying that the Korean people hold him in high esteem as the eternal President of the DPRK.

Kim Jong Il successfully accomplished the cause of perpetuating the memory of the President, the paper said, adding: The revolutionary history of the President continues without letup in the reality of the DPRK where his wishes and behests are being successfully carried into practice by Kim Jong Il.

A newspaper of Romania on April 6 carried an article titled "The 99th Birth Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung". The article cited facts to note that the President wisely led the arduous anti-Japanese armed struggle and the building of a new country after Korea's liberation, the Fatherland Liberation War, the postwar rehabilitation and socialist construction and enforced popular policies in the DPRK.
