Kim Jong Il's Birthday to Be Celebrated in Switzerland

| Pyongyang, April 17 (KCNA) -- A Swiss preparatory committee to celebrate the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il in 2012 was inaugurated with due ceremony in Basel on April 9. Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee at the ceremony. The committee set the days from April 9 of 2011 to February 20 of 2012 as a commemoration period and decided to hold diverse events praising the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il in the period. |
