Among the audiences were leading officials of the state and the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of party and power organs, social organizations, ministries and national institutions and working people here, staff members of embassies of different countries and foreign guests and overseas compatriots.

Foreign artistes staged colorful numbers including songs, dances, instrumental music and acrobatics.

A performance was given at the Pyongyang Grand Theatre by Merited Artiste Varvara and the Ensemble "Oberg" of Russia, the Moscow Classical Ballet of Russia, the Chamber Orchestra Alberic Magnard of France, German Soloists of Creusen Concert, Famous Artistes from Moscow Grand Theater of Russia, Soloists of "Orfei" Group from the Sophia Opera Theater of Bulgaria and the Soloists Ensemble "Classic Avantguard" of Belarus.

They presented with refined skill numbers including Korean song "Song of a Truck Driver" and foreign music "Kubalrinka and "Prelude and Allegro."

Female Soloist Varvara enthusiastically presented song "Girl on a Galloping Steed" which reflects the spirit of the young Koreans performing miracles and feats in the building of a thriving nation, deeply impressing the audience

The dancers who staged a dance from the ballet dance drama "Spartacus" successfully represented the thematic contents of the work with modern ballet style, truthful acting and refined rhythms.

A performance was given at the Moranbong Circus Theatre by the acrobatic troupe of China, the State Acrobatic Company of Russia and the Nikulin Moscow Circus.

Acrobats in numbers including "Duet Ballet Etude", "Ball Playing Skill", "Bowl Piling", "Somersault on Pole" and "Trio Circle Plastic Etude" presented high skills and difficult movements to the admiration of the spectators.

The performances were acclaimed by the audiences for their high ideological and artistic values and refined skills.
