China Increases Efforts to Intensify Theoretical Work in Army

Beijing, April 15 (KCNA) -- Officials in charge of theoretical work in the army should make a contribution to promoting the scientific development in the army building. Xu Caihou, member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the Communist Party of China and vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the CPC, urged this at a recent inaugural ceremony of high-ranking theoretical training course of the army.

He underlined the need for the cadres of the party committees at all levels to further perfect the selection and training system for building up the ranks of theoretical officials so as to provide them with good conditions. He called upon them to work hard and earnestly put theories into practice.
