Malaysia's Guang Ming Daily on April 9 carried an article with pictures of the President's native home in Mangyongdae. The article told about his exploits for nation building.

The Uruguayan paper La Juventud on April 10 carried an article titled "Day of Sun April 15, 99th Birth Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung" and other articles under the subtitles of "Legendary Hero," "Military Genius" and "Iron-willed Commander."

The Indian paper Defense and Humanity on April 11 carried articles titled "Great Man of Century," "Statesman of Human Love" and "75 Years under the Banner of Great Unity of Entire Nation" under the headline of "On the Occasion of the 99th Birth Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung."

On the same day the Indian paper Science, Technology and Education News carried an article on the fact that the President successfully pursued the politics of love and trust in the people for the first time in history.

Russian newspapers including Serp I Molot and Veteran ran special write-ups with portraits of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and photos of peerlessly great persons.
