He, vice-chairman of the Asia-Pacific regional preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung, said:

The Juche idea founded by Kim Il Sung is the great idea whose validity has been confirmed in practice, and it serves as the source of all victories of the Korean people.

During the stay in the DPRK he deeply felt this truth, going round different places, he said, adding:

Under the banner of the Juche idea the Korean people have achieved signal successes in all fields.

Socialist Korea is now displaying its might all over the world.

This is unthinkable without the Juche idea.

The President enlisted the unfailing energy of the popular masses to turn Korea into a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.

The Korean army and people are now pushing ahead with the building of a thriving nation, true to the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

Expressing the will to intensify the action for significantly commemorating the Day of the Sun in 2012, Raymond Ferguson went on to say:

We are going to issue an appeal fully supporting the decision of the consultative meeting of senior officials of the international preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung, which will be sent to all preparatory committees.

We will also widely introduce the exploits of Kim Il Sung and activate the work to boost friendship, unity and cooperation with the Korean people.

Korean socialism is invincible as there are the Juche idea and the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.
