13th Kimilsungia Festival Closes
Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- The 13th Kimilsungia Festival, which opened on April 13 in Pyongyang, closed with due ceremony at the Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Exhibition on Wednesday.

The festival drew more than 200,000 visitors every day, adding to significant commemoration of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present at the ceremony were Yang Hyong Sop and officials of ministries and national institutions, servicepersons, working people from all social strata, members of delegations of overseas compatriots and overseas compatriots.

Present there on invitation were Indonesian Ambassador to the DPRK Nasri Gustaman and staff members of the embassy and foreign guests.

An Tong Chun, DPRK minister of Culture, said in his closing address that the festival took place successfully thanks to the unanimous desire and sincerity of the Korean people and the progressive humankind to hold the President as the sun of Juche for all ages.

He underlined the need to dynamically make an all-out offensive, an all-out breakthrough for translating the President's desire for building a prosperous and powerful nation so as to commemorate the centenary of his birth as the greatest holiday of Kim Il Sung's nation and the great auspicious event in the history of humankind and make the festival of immortal flowers more splendid and significant.

He underscored the need to positively research, cultivate and spread Kimilsungia so as to bring into full bloom the flower of sun in every part of the world as well as the hearts of humankind in the era of independence.
