Mongolian Delegation Feted
Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Wednesday gave a reception for the delegation of the Mongolian People's Party on a visit to the DPRK.

Present on invitation were the members of the delegation led by General Secretary U. Khurelsukh and Mongolian Ambassador to the DPRK Sodovjamts Khurelbaatar and staff members of the embassy.

Secretary Choe Thae Bok and Vice-department Director Ri Yong Chol and other officials of the C.C., the WPK were on hand.

Choe in his speech said that the MPP has dynamically led the struggle for the Mongolian people's freedom and happiness as a party of a long history.

He said that Korea and Mongolia are neighboring countries in Northeast Asia and they are linked as one for the regional peace and stability and common prosperity.

He expressed determination to boost the friendly relations between the two parties and countries provided by President Kim Il Sung and the leaders of Mongolia of elder generation.

U. Khurelsukh in his speech said that the MPP and the WPK played a great role in developing the friendly relations between the two countries in the past.

The Mongolian delegation's recent visit to the DPRK will contribute to boosting the friendly relations between the two parties which have a long-standing tradition, he stressed.

He expressed belief that the Korean people would significantly commemorate the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung.

He wished the Korean people greater success in the struggle for achieving prosperity and reunification of the country under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.
