The Young Communist League of Russia posted on its Internet homepage on April 8 a picture of the President and General Secretary Kim Jong Il standing together with an article titled "Popular Leader".

The article recalled that the Korean people defeated the U.S. imperialists for the first time in history in the Fatherland Liberation War and successfully carried out the postwar rehabilitation and construction and the historic task of socialist industrialization in a brief span of time.

All these events are the results the President registered by actively enlisting the inexhaustible strength of the popular masses, it stressed.

The Bangladeshi newspaper Blitz posted on its Internet homepage a portrait of the smiling President and several articles under the caption of "President Kim Il Sung Is Always Alive in Hearts of Mankind".

The articles noted that Mangyongdae, the birthplace of the President, is regarded as a sacred place of the revolution visited by endless stream of not only the Korean people but the world progressives.

The Brazilian Committee for Solidarity with the DPRK posted on its Internet homepage a portrait of the smiling President and an article titled "Statesman Possessed of Love for Human Being" on the same day.

The Brazilian Communist Party carried on its Internet homepage an article titled "The Korean People Commemorating the Birth Anniversary of Comrade Kim Il Sung" on April 14.
