Displayed in the venues of the exhibitions were works of the President and Kim Jong Il, photos on their exploits, books and photos introducing the true picture of Songun Korea and handicrafts associated with the wisdom and talents of the Korean people.

Speeches were made at the opening ceremonies.

The mayor of Partizansk said that he was pleased with the Korean book, photo and handicraft exhibition opening in the city on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung.

The mayor said that the exhibition would provide Russians with an opportunity to know better about the intense loyalty of the Korean people to their leader, their ardent love for the country and rich cultural attainments.

The vice prime minister of the government of the Jewish Autonomous Region, the mayor of Birobizyan and other personages expressed expectation that the friendly relations between the two countries would grow stronger with the exhibition as an occasion.

The vice chairman of the Moscow Artists Union said that the DPRK is working world-startling miracles in all fields of socialist construction, adding that they are the fruition of the tested leadership of Kim Jong Il.
