Birth Anniversary of Kim Il Sung Commemorated Abroad

Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- A regional organization and organizations of different countries posted special write-ups on their Internet homepages between April 10 and 13 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. The International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions posted on its Internet homepage photos of the President and an article titled "Mangyongdae Is a Sacred Place for All the Revolutionaries." The article introduced in detail the members of the revolutionary family in Mangyongdae, saying that the small thatch-roofed house where the President was born is still preserved in its original state there and the patriots who dedicated their lives to the country and its people generation after generation lived in this house. It stressed that Mangyongdae has become a sacred place of the revolution which is visited by an endless stream of not only Koreans but world progressives who follow the Juche idea and aspire after independence. The Peruvian-Korean Institute of Cultural and Friendship posted on its Internet homepage an article saying that the President achieved the independence of the country and its prosperity under the banner of Juche and brought about epoch-making changes in the struggle to carve out the destiny of the popular masses. The Poland-DPRK Association posted on its Internet homepage photos on the President's revolutionary activities and an article introducing his popular personality. The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea posted on its Internet homepage an article telling the story that Kim Il Sung visited the workers of Kangson for the building of a new country though Mangyongdae, his birthplace, was within a hailing distance in the wake of his triumphant return home after liberating the country from the Japanese imperialists. |
