They included meetings in Norway, Bulgaria and Ecuador, a remembrance meeting in Denmark and a joint meeting in Laos.

On display in their venues were works of Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and photos on their immortal feats and other photos introducing Songun Korea.

Svend Haakon Jacobsen, chairman of the Communist Party of Norway, said that Kim Il Sung led to victory the Korean people's historic struggle from the revolution for national liberation to the socialist construction, performing great exploits which will remain forever in the history of the Korean revolution and the struggle for human emancipation.

Under the leadership of Kim Jong Il socialist Korea is now dynamically advancing along the road of victory, meeting every challenge of history, he said.

Mogens Jensen, chief of the Group for the Study of Works of Kim Jong Il in Denmark, said that Kim Il Sung was the father of the people as he devoted his all to them, regarding the idea of believing in them as in Heaven as his maxim and always finding himself among them to be on the same boat with them.

He is the peerless patriot and prominent leader who performed undying feats for Korea's reunification and global independence, the chief added.

Messages to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the events in Norway, Bulgaria and Denmark.
