Otete Gaston Mboyo, chairman of the Democratic Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association, in a statement on April 13 said: In the work Kim Il Sung advanced a great programme for national reunification the keynote of which is to avert the division and confrontation through the great unity of the whole nation and establish an independent, peaceful and neutral unified state on the principle of giving priority to the nation's interests. This programme was fully supported and approved by not only all the Koreans but also the world's independent and peace-loving people. It is still recognized as the most fair and above-board reunification proposal.

The statement noted that Kim Il Sung, who was the prominent leader of the Korean revolution and the world revolution and worked heart and soul for the people's happiness and the country's prosperity, had dedicated his all to the cause of national reunification till the last moments of his life.

Tin Tun, director of the Myanmar Medical Research Institute, in a statement on April 6 said that 10-point programme clearly indicates the orientation and ways for bringing earlier the reunification of Korea.

General Secretary Kim Jong Il formulated the 10-point programme as well as the three principles of national reunification and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo as the three charters of national reunification to be invariably adhered to by the Korean nation under any situation and circumstance, the statement said.
