CPLA Chief of General Staff on Development of Relations with Russia

Beijing, April 26 (KCNA) -- Chen Bingde, chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, on April 24 referred to the development of relations with Russia at the talks with his Russian counterpart Nikolai Makarov.

The U.S. and the EU hinder the defense building of China but Russia helps China in the field of military technology, Chen said.

China and Russia are taking unified attitude toward most of international issues, he noted, adding that the consensus of views between the two countries is based on mutual respect and trust.
