This year North Phyongan Province has recorded the sowing 30 percent higher than the same period of last year.

Sariwon City, Pongsan County and Hwangju County of North Hwanghae Province have sown seedbeds in a scientific and technological way.

Peasants of Jaeryong and Yonbaek plains in South Hwanghae Province have pushed forward the sowing as planned.

Such achievements have also been reported from Pyongyang and Nampho Cities, and South Phyongan and South Hamgyong Provinces.

Rural communities in North Hamgyong and Kangwon Provinces have sown high-yielding rice seeds suitable for their geographical characteristics.
