Kim Il Sung's Feats Lauded Abroad

Pyongyang, April 29 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of different countries carried special write-ups with photographs on President Kim Il Sung's revolutionary activities on the occasion of his birth anniversary. The April 13th issue of the Lao newspaper Pasason in an article titled "Great Leader of People" said that Kim Il Sung founded the Juche idea and indicated the Juche-oriented line of the Korean revolution on the basis of it and led the 15 years-long anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory without a state backing and the support from a regular army, relying on the inexhaustible strength of the popular masses. The newspaper related stories that Kim Il Sung made ceaseless journeys for the people's happiness all his life and many foreign friends were completely attracted by his noble personality as a great man. The April 18th issue of the Lao newspaper Vientiane Mai edited a similar article. The April 14th issue of La Prosperite, a newspaper of Democratic Congo, in articles under various titles praised Kim Il Sung as the iron-willed commander who defeated U.S. and Japanese imperialisms in one generation and defended the country and nation's sovereignty and dignity. The newspaper said that he not only established the socialist system centered on the popular masses in Korea but provided tireless field guidance to every nook and corner of the country for the people's happy life even at the advanced age of 80. The April 17th issue of Post, a newspaper of Zambia, carried an article titled "Kim Il Sung, Eternal President" dealing with his undying feats performed in the nation-building. |
