China Takes Measures for Foodstuff Security

| Beijing, April 27 (KCNA) -- The General Office of the State Council of China recently issued a notice on severely punishing the illegal use of additives in foodstuff. The notice said that the use of substance harmful to human bodies such as chemical materials which are not additives for foodstuff is banned in the production of foodstuffs. It also stressed the need to standardize the production and use of additives for foodstuff and for the units concerned to strictly fulfill their obligations. |
