The working people of Cuba feel greatly proud of having defended the sovereignty and independence of the country from the imperialists' constant moves for aggression, the appeal said.

The appeal called upon the working people to pool their voices demanding the release of the five patriots unreasonably detained in a U.S. prison and denouncing the U.S. for declaring acquittal of Posada Carriles, an international terrorist.
