Indonesian Party Hopes to Develop Relations with WPK

Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- I hope that the Korean people would significantly commemorate the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung and achieve a decisive victory in building a great prosperous and powerful nation under the wise leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Megawati Soekarnoputri, general chairwoman of the Central Directive Council of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, said this on April 26 when Jong Chun Gun, DPRK ambassador to Indonesia, paid a farewell call on her. She also hoped that the north and the south of Korea would improve the relations and the six-party talks be resumed.

She stressed that her party always positively supports the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea and hopes to develop the cooperative relations with the Workers' Party of Korea.
