Magnesia Clinker Production Goes Up

| Pyongyang, May 2 (KCNA) -- From the beginning of the year the DPRK's magnesia clinker production has increased 1.2 times compared with the corresponding period of last year. The Tanchon Magnesia Factory has employed advanced technologies to boost the production. The Songjin Fireproof Material Factory has raised the production 130 percent in the same period by operating the kiln at full capacity. The Taehung Youth Hero Mine and the Ryongyang Mine have reconditioned kilns for increased production. Besides, the Tanchon Area Associated Mining Bureau has built new light burned magnesia bases. The Tanchon area has large deposits of magnesite, as well as a port. |
