The complex has contributed to the development of the country's self-supporting national economy with the production of various machines.

In the first five-year plan (1957-1961), its workers made 1 125 kW speed reducer and 8-m turning lathe.

In the 1960s, they produced a 3,000 ton press, a 6,000 ton press and other ordered equipment.

They manufactured 20-m lathe, 18-m turning lathe, 400-mm planer and 5,000-m drilling machine in the 1970s.

They made a 3,000 kW high-pressure gas compressor, 70-m double-housing planer, 10,000 ton press and other equipment in the 1980s and the 1990s.

Last year, streamlined iron foundry and compressor workshop started operation in the complex.

This year, the complex manufactured equipment and compressors necessary for the gasification project of the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex.

The complex has several factories and branch factories.
