Anniversary of Korean People's Army Marked Abroad

Pyongyang, May 5 (KCNA) -- A regional organization and political parties and organizations of Brazil and Nigeria posted special write-ups on their Internet websites between April 16 and 22 to mark the 79th birthday of the Korean People's Army. The International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions posted a photo of General Secretary Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk and an article titled "Reliable center for training the successors to the revolution" introducing Mangyongdae Revolutionary School. The article noted that President Kim Il Sung developed the school into a base for training commanding officers, the core of the revolutionary armed forces. The Communist Party of Brazil posted an article titled "People's Korea celebrates the birthday of its people's army", which said that the KPA has become not only the defender of the country and the nation but also the political forces steering the socialist cause. The Brazilian Committee for Solidarity with the DPRK posted an article with a photo of KPA parade ranks, which said: In the course of overcoming serious economic difficulties in the revolutionary soldier spirit the Korean people became further convinced that they can successfully stand any ordeal and trial and surely emerge victorious when they devotedly follow their leader and breathe and act in his idea and intention with confidence in their strength. The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, in an article titled "Invincible KPA", told about the source of the invincible strength of the KPA which has always emerge victorious in the acute showdown with the U.S. and its followers to defend socialism and reliably guarantee the building of a thriving nation. |
