The Lao News Agency said: The President clarified the issue of the nation from a new angle on the basis of the Juche idea and put forward the original idea of the great national unity in his early years. He laid down the line calling for intensifying an armed struggle and, at the same time, uniting all the anti-Japanese patriotic forces as one in order to defeat the Japanese imperialists and retake the usurped country and wisely led the struggle for its implementation.

The Bangladeshi Paper Matribumi and the Indian Paper Defense and Humanity referred to the fact that the President founded the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland on the basis of the idea of the great national unity and that of the united front in May, 1936, adding that its foundation and activities served as a valuable tradition of the great unity of the Korean nation.

The Guinean Agency of Press and the Iranian paper Kayhan International reported that the association greatly contributed to expanding and developing the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

The internet homepage of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain stressed that the President's idea of the great unity of the nation and great tradition of the revolutionary unity have been carried forward and developed on new higher stage by illustrious commander of Songun Kim Jong Il.
