The commentary recalled that the "government" submitted to an international organization a nonsensical proposal for marking the sea between Korea and Japan as the East Sea of Korea and "Sea of Japan" simultaneously.

When the "government" came under fire for this, it talked about "a primary strategy" and the like in a bid to pull the wool over the eyes of people, the commentary noted, and continued:

The authorities have connived at Japan's undisguised ambition to grab Tok Islets, talking about "calm diplomacy" in the relations with it, and now have brought to light their pro-Japan sycophantic nature.

It urged the authorities to immediately give up their behavior little short of abandoning the islets, apologize to the people and stop the humiliating diplomacy, though belatedly.
