The book dealing with the glorious revolutionary life and exploits of President Kim Il Sung has 12 chapters written in chronological order.

Chapters from 1 to 4 which cover the period from April of 1912 to August of 1945 contain the revolutionary history in which the President grew up as a great revolutionary, founded the immortal Juche idea, the Songun idea, started the revolutionary cause of Juche and led the anti-Japanese war to liberate Korea to victory.

Chapters from 5 to 8 which cover the period from August of 1945 to December of 1960 tell the historical facts that the President led to victory the building of a new country and the Fatherland Liberation War, wisely led the struggle for the post-war rehabilitation and construction and the laying of the foundation of socialism and established the Korean-style socialist system centered on popular masses.

Chapters from 9 to 12 cover the period from January of 1961 to July of 1994. They deal with the historical facts that the President wisely led socialist construction, building a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence, and demonstrating its dignity and might before the world.

The book deals with facts that Kim Il Sung rendered positive support, political, military and material, to the people of various countries including China in their struggle against the imperialists and sent many technicians and experts to different countries to sincerely help them in their economic and cultural construction.

The book also tells stories that Kim Il Sung was presented with orders and honorary titles and gifts by the Korean people, overseas compatriots and world progressives for the great exploits performed for the Korean revolution and global independence.

It says that Kim Il Sung is always alive as the sun of Juche thanks to the noble revolutionary moral obligation of General Secretary Kim Jong Il, great successor to the revolutionary cause of Juche.
