Displayed in the venue of the seminar were works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and books and photos on the successes made by the Korean people in building a thriving nation.

Present there on invitation were the DPRK ambassador to Mexico and his embassy officials and the delegation of the Social Scientists Society of Korea.

The secretary general of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea delivered a report to be followed by congratulatory speeches by the head of the delegation of the Social Scientists Society of Korea and the general secretary of the C.C., the People's Socialist Party of Mexico.

The floor was taken by the chairman of the Peru-Korea Friendship Institute for Study of the Juche-based Songun Policy, the president of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea "Kanggye" of Colombia, the chairman of the Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea and other personages under the titles "Let us explore the road of socialist cause under uplifted banner of independence against imperialism", "Let us advance under uplifted banner of independence, self-support and self-reliance", "Let us build a new independent world free from any domination, subjugation, aggression and war" and "Unity means victory and division death".

The reporter and speakers highly praised President Kim Il Sung as a great teacher and eternal sun of the world progressives.

They praised Kim Jong Il for having turned the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power and conducted unremitting revolutionary activities for building an economic power, thus striking the world people with admiration.

Noting that the Juche idea serves as a powerful weapon of the struggle against imperialism for the Latin American people, they called upon the people of the region to take joint actions against the "globalization" of the U.S.-led imperialists to frustrate all kinds of moves for domination, interference and blockade in order to build peaceful and independent Latin America.

They stressed the need to positively learn from the struggle of the Korean people and strengthen the solidarity with the people of the fraternal countries in their struggle against all sorts of exploitation and subjugation.

An appeal to the followers of the Juche idea of the world was adopted at the seminar.

Noting that it fully supports and welcomes the decision of the 13th enlarged meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the International Institute of the Juche Idea to convene the world conference on the Juche idea in Pyongyang in April 2012, it ardently called upon the followers of the Juche idea to take the lead in greeting the Day of the Sun of the next year as the greatest holiday of mankind.

A letter to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the seminar.
