The commentary accused the "government" of submitting to the International Maritime Organization a proposal on April 30 that the East Sea of Korea and "Japan Sea" should be marked simultaneously.

What is more ridiculous was that the authorities asserted they would push forward the separate marking of the East Sea of Korea step by step in the future while clumsily excusing for their treacherous behavior, the commentary said, branding this as sheer sophism.

In the past century the Korean nation suffered such disgrace as being deprived of not only territory but seas and sky by the Japanese imperialists, the commentary noted, and went on:

Nevertheless, the authorities made a proposal before any others to mark the East Sea of Korea and "Japan Sea" simultaneously. It is only the Lee Myung Bak "government" in the world which did not hesitate to commit such sycophancy and treachery.

The commentary slashed at the present "government" for following in the footsteps of wicked traitor Ri Wan Yong, hell-bent on humiliating and sycophantic diplomacy.
