The farm registered President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il as its honorary members. The President visited Wonhwa-ri on May 10, Juche 41 (1952) when the Fatherland Liberation War was at its height. He joined peasants there in sowing seeds, opening a prospect for agricultural cooperativization. The farm kicked off the rice transplantation this year, greeting the significant day.

The officials and other members of the farm sowed rice seeds in the right time and made great efforts for tending rice-seedling beds to raise healthy seedlings despite the unprecedented unfavorable weather.

The rice transplantation is making brisk headway from its very start as it was kicked off on the basis of full preparations including the overhaul of tractors and other farm machines.
