S. Korean Authorities' Abduction of Inhabitants of DPRK Slammed in Ecuador

Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- The Ecuador-Guaranda Institute for Friendship and Cultural Solidarity with the Korean People issued a statement on May 4 denouncing the south Korean puppet group for committing such unethical act as kidnapping inhabitants of the DPRK in the West Sea of Korea.

Recalling that the south Korean authorities unreasonably abducted a fishing boat and 31 inhabitants of the DPRK and put them in custody for more than 50 days and have not sent four of them back to the north, the statement bitterly denounced this brutal action.

These atrocities reveal once again the bestial nature of the south Korean authorities abusing human rights as servants of the imperialists, it said, and went on:

The south Korean authorities should stop the provocative moves against the DPRK and come out for dialogue for peace and reunification on the Korean Peninsula.

We strongly demand the U.S. forces withdraw from south Korea at once and send the inhabitants of the DPRK back to the north.
