Hu Jintao Calls for Following Example of Wu Mengchao

Beijing, May 11 (KCNA) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao recently issued an important directive to follow and widely introduce the progressive activities of Academician Wu Mengchao and his noble moral traits and spirit of love for the party, the state and the people as a health worker.

The president stressed that to introduce the progressive activities of excellent members of the Communist Party of China should be regarded as main part of the work for commemorating the 90th birthday of the CPC.

Wu, an army surgeon, reportedly devoted his wisdom and passion to saving people's lives and made big contribution to putting the Chinese medicine on the world-leading level.
