China Calls for Giving Full Play to Good Tradition of Army

| Beijing, May 11 (KCNA) -- Guo Boxiong, member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the Communist Party of China, stressed the need to give full play to good tradition of the army recently when speaking to the representatives of army and armed police units. Servicepersons should be loyal to their duty at their posts and work earnestly to register greater successes, said Guo, vice-chairman of the CPC Central Military Commission. He also said that they should strive to accelerate the scientific development in aspect of unit construction and combat preparations and thoroughly carry out all the missions given by the party and people to celebrate the 90th birthday of the CPC by real action. |
