He deplored that the south Korean universities are operated with the registration fees collected from the students.

The present reality that the registration fee per a student is ten million won is an indication that the people are denied the right to education, he said.

He accused the authorities of not covering even the expenses for operating not only universities but secondary schools under the pretext of budget deficit.

The registration fee should not be halved but abolished, he stressed.
