It said that it would launch an action against the puppet authorities' misrule against democracy, people and reunification on the occasion of the anniversary.

It noted that it would hold a workers' meeting and the May event of students in Kwangju on May 14, the May 18 grand march for peace and reunification and people's meeting on May 15 and a memorial service at the May 18 State Cemetery on May 17.

It declared that it would conduct various forms of actions in Seoul, Inchon, Taegu, Taejon, Pusan, Ansan and other places for ten odd days from mid-May.
