Moran Hill Fragrant with Flowers
Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- Many people climb Moran Hill, one of the scenic spots in Pyongyang, to enjoy flower scent.

In spring the hill is fragrant with various sorts of flowers.

The road to the Moranbong Theatre is lined with red-blossoming peach trees and the Moran Restaurant and Ondal Pavilion are surrounded by lilacs.

Royal azaleas and yellow roses give off sweet odors around the Ulmil Pavilion and swarms of bees are buzzing over white-blossomed plum trees near the Liberation Tower.

Rim Chun Gyu, chief engineer of the Moran Hill Management Office, told KCNA that the hill is covered by hundreds of thousands of flowering trees of some 200 species.
