Degree of DPRK Honorary Doctor of Forestry Conferred on Foreigner

| Pyongyang, May 17 (KCNA) -- An honorary doctor's degree of the DPRK was conferred on Professor and Director Xu Jianchu, China and East Asia node representative of the World Agroforestry Center. He contributed to the study, development and dissemination of the ways of combined management of forestry and agriculture and to the training of reserve scientists. An awarding ceremony took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Tuesday. |
