Paintings and Calligraphic Works Exhibited

Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- The exhibition of paintings and calligraphic works created by former unconverted long-term prisoners is going on in different places of Kaechon City, South Phyongan Province. It began on May 11. Exhibited are more than 100 pieces created by Kim Un Hwan, Choe Son Muk, Yang Jong Ho, Ri Kyong Chan and An Yong Gi. Among them are "Mangyongdae Lineage", "Tiger on Mt. Paektu", "General Is Son of Guerrillas", etc. highly praising the undying exploits of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and showing intense trust of the former unconverted long-term prisoners in the party and the leader. "Single-minded Unity", "To a Thriving Nation" and others reflect the might of the DPRK and working spirit of the army and people of the DPRK. There are also pieces showing advantages of Korean-style socialist system and desire of the nation for reunification. |
