Solidarity Action for Checking Conclusion of FTA Declared in S. Korea

Pyongyang, May 19 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and the Industrial Workers' Union of the Confederation of Labor of the U.S. at a joint press conference in Seoul on May 16 declared that they would stage a solidarity action for checking the conclusion of the south Korea-U.S. "FTA", according to the south Korean Yonhap News.

The organizations said that FTA only meets the interests of a tiny handful of businesses.

They stressed that they would make the voices of the labor circle opposing the conclusion of FTA heard and wage in a sustainable manner the actions to check its conclusion in alliance with civic and public organizations of various circles.
