Russian Deputy PM on Government Delegation's Visit to Kuril Islands

| Moscow, May 17 (KCNA) -- Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov at a press conference in Vladivostok on May 16 referred to the government delegation's visit to Kuril Islands. As regards the Japanese authorities' protest against the Russian government delegation's visit to Kuril Islands, he said the delegation's visit was of technical nature, not to anger anyone under any circumstances. The purpose of the delegation's visit was to acquaint itself on the spot with the implementation of the federal plan adopted in 2007, he added. |
