China Calls for Multilateralism

| Pyongyang, May 19 (KCNA) -- Zheng Wantong, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, called for multilateralism when having a talk with the president of the UN General Assembly at its headquarters recently. He said that no country is allowed to think of itself only but pursue multilateralism now that the multi-polarization of the world is gaining in depth and it is necessary to address such worldwide problems as the international financial crisis, climate change and energy security and food security. He noted that it is an inevitable option. |
