China Calls for Respect for Path of Developing Green Economy Chosen by Each Country

| Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- China's UN ambassador Li Baodong at the recent Ministerial Dialogue on Moving Towards Sustainable Development Expectations for Rio+20 as a part of the 19th Session of the UN Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) said that path of developing green economy chosen by each country based on their specific national conditions should be respected. "Countries differ in resource endowment and development levels. It is imperative to respect the path of developing green economy chosen by each country's government based on their specific national conditions. There should not be unified standard or set of indicators," he said. |
