Russia Accuses U.S. of Its Unilateral Attempt to Build MD

Moscow, May 19 (KCNA) -- Dmitri Rogozin, Russian permanent representative at NATO, in a recent press conference criticized the U.S. for its unilateral attempt to build the missile defense system in Europe.

It is impossible to build the MD in Europe while excluding Russia, he said, adding that in case of establishment of MD, Russia's system for early warning on missile attack will rapidly react to it.

The range of interceptor missile of the U.S. MD should not cover Russia's territory, he said, declaring that Russia will overcome the threat posed to it by itself.
