On Tuesday, the U.S. Treasury Department decided to impose sanctions on an Iranian state-owned bank. In this regard he branded it as a psychological warfare against his country.

He referred to the numerous efforts made by different U.S. administrations to enforce Washington's "hegemonic position" against the Islamic Republic, saying that anti-Iran sanctions are the continuation of such policies.
