Centenary of Birth of Kim Il Sung to Be Commemorated in Nepal

Pyongyang, May 23 (KCNA) -- Nepali organizations made public a joint statement on May 16 in support of the decision of the senior officials' meeting of the International Preparatory Committee for Commemorating the Centenary of Birth of President Kim Il Sung. They are the Nepal-Korea Friendship Association, the Nepal Institute for the Juche Studies and the Nepalese Committee for Supporting the Reunification of Korea. The centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung is a meaningful event to the progressive mankind praising him who made an immortal contribution to global independence, the statement said, adding: The Nepal-Korea Friendship Association, the Nepal Institute for the Juche Studies and the Nepalese Committee for Supporting the Reunification of Korea, together with other social organizations of Nepal, will commemorate the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung with splendor. We take this opportunity to extend our constant support and solidarity to the heroic Korean people in the efforts to achieve the peaceful reunification of the country while smashing all sorts of sinister moves of the imperialists and the reactionaries and build a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation. Kim Il Sung is always alive in the hearts of the world people aspiring after independence. |
