Bulgarians to Strengthen Solidarity with Korean People

| Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- The Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association declared that it would commemorate most significantly and splendidly the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung next year and conduct on a wider scale the activities of solidarity with the just cause of the Korean people. This will was expressed at the general meeting for summing up the work of the Association on May 18. Simeon Ignatov, chairman of the Association, made a report at the meeting, which was followed by speeches of several personages. They noted that in the period from 2008 to 2011 under review the Association conducted various activities of introducing the exploits of the peerlessly great persons on such important occasions as birthdays of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the anniversary of the DPRK's foundation. They also said that the Association expressed support and solidarity with the Korean people in their strenuous efforts for building of a thriving nation and national reunification, and referred to its future tasks. |
