More Cases of U.S. Forces' Burial of Toxic Materials Disclosed
Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- It was disclosed that the U.S. forces present in south Korea buried other toxic materials in addition to defoliant in their base in Waegwan, Chilgok County, North Kyongsang Province, south Korean CBS said.

This was testified to by workers, who retired while working in the base.

They said that they had seen chemical materials marked with warning of radiation while at work in the base.

They noted they could not forget the poisonous smell to which they had been exposed at that time though several decades have passed since then, adding that defoliant was not the only thing which was buried in the base.

The fact that there was a chemical unit in the base, in particular, further increases the possibility of the crimes committed by the U.S. forces.

The disclosure of more crimes committed by the U.S. forces is arousing great concern not only among south Korean inhabitants around the base but also among all other members of the society.
