Noting that what is most important at present is for the countries around the Korean Peninsula to promote dialogue concerning the issue of the peninsula, he underscored the need to provide conditions for the resumption of the six-party talks through various forms of bilateral and multilateral dialogue.

The six-party talks may play an important role in preserving the peace and stability of the region and realizing the denuclearization of the peninsula, he added.
