The PNA's Ministry of Prisoners' Affairs said in a statement that Israeli prison authorities increased search raids in the detainees' cells and rooms, adding that the search "is accompanied by attacks, humiliation and individual and collective punishment."

The statement said the increasing search operations in the cells "aim at creating instability among the prisoners and destroy their rights."

The statement demanded the Israeli authorities stop violence on the prisoners immediately and free them as soon as possible.
